There are many giving opportunities at First Presbyterian Church of Northville Endowment Fund as there are avenues of interest for our members and friends. Your gift can be designated for three different categories.  The Church welcomes gifts of all sizes. Unless you request anonymity, we will acknowledge your gift accordingly.

Your gift may take many forms:

Unrestricted Gifts - A gift without restrictions offers the most flexibility, ensuring the quality programs of the Church.

Designated Gifts - You may designate a gift for any of the following three major fund classifications or combination thereof:  (1) Education, (2) Church Facilities, (3) Ministries, Music and Community.

Gifts of Cash - Your outright gift of cash, either in full or on a pledge plan, will also be accepted.  Please make your checks payable to the First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund.

Gifts for Endowment - Your endowed gift will provide the Church with income every year in perpetuity.

Gifts of Securities - An outright gift of appreciated stock eliminates any capital gains tax and allows you to claim an income-tax deduction based on the full market value of long-term securities, regardless of their original cost.

Memorials and Tributes - When someone special in your life marks a time of passage (baptism, wedding or retirement) or enters the Church Triumphant, a gift to the First Presbyterian Church of Northville Endowment Fund is an appropriate way to honor the occasion and express your sentiments. We will notify the honoree or appropriate family member at your request.

Gifts of Real Estate - You may give the Church your home, vacation house, farm, ranch, or any other dwelling, commercial property, or undeveloped land.

Tangible Gifts - Antiques, paintings, jewelry, and other items of worth make suitable gifts to the Church.

Gifts of Life Insurance - To make a major gift without a major expense to you assign ownership of a life insurance policy to the Church or irrevocably name the Church as your beneficiary.

Life Income Gifts - According to a living trust, you may be able to make a significant future gift to the Church while providing yourself with immediate tax savings and additional income for life.

Gifts by Will - You may be able to contribute much more to the Church by naming First Presbyterian of Northville Endowment Fund in your will than would be possible with an outright gift. You may fund such a gift with cash, marketable securities, tangible property or closely held stock
