The goal of Prayer Ministry is to hold up the congregation (individuals, ministries, activities, Ministry staff, teachers, elders, deacons, Stephen Ministers etc.) in prayer before God on a regular basis. Love for God and each other is the guiding principal of Prayer Ministry. Prayer Ministrys secondary goal is fostering the personal prayer journeys of prayer ministry participants. Prayer ministry opportunities:
Monday Morning Prayer Group:This ladies group meets from 10:30 am 12:00 every Monday in the Emeritus Room and welcomes new members. We pray for each others family and friends, as well as praying for the needs of our church.
This is a great place to learn about prayer in a supportive environment. When we focus our thoughts on God and join our hearts together in prayer, Gods presence renews us and gives us hope. Monday morning prayer is an uplifting time. It is a blessing to be able to serve God through praying for others.
Keeping prayer requests confidential is important to this group. This is not a place for gossip. This is a place where having friends that pray is a blessing and talking to God is a joy.
